The AVP range of transmitters broadcast a single VGA video source with audio or power to 2, 4 or 8 receivers over Cat5 UTP cable up to 300m.
The AVP range is so called because it can either transmit Audio + Video or Video + Power to the receiver. This offers additional flexibility when planning a Digital Signage installation.
Individual transmitters may be daisy chained using the Local VGA output to increase the number of outputs. This ensures that output channels are not wasted and optimizes the number of transmitters required.

The CatX AVP Tx2 transmitter broadcasts VGA and audio signals to two separate receivers at distances of up to 300m each (600m span), using cat5 UTP cable.
This VGA cat5 extender can take its power directly from the VGA source, making installation very simple and straightforward. The maximum high resolution of 2048 x 1536 makes the CatX AVP Tx2 the best quality unit in this category.
With VP mode selected, the UTP outputs can power two CatX Mini VP Receivers.
The CatX AVP Tx2 transmitter has a local VGA output and two audio outputs. The local VGA output can directly power up a CatX Mini VP Transmitter.
This VGA cat5 extender can also cascade to increase the number of outputs available, providing maximum configuration flexibility.

The CatX AVP Tx4 and CatX AVP Tx8 transmitters broadcast high quality VGA and audio signals to a maximum of four or eight separate receivers at distances of up to 300m over low cost cat5 UTP cabling.
The CatX AVP Tx4 and Tx8 transmitters extend VGA as well as analogue audio and provide four or eight sets of AV signal outputs to the receivers.
The Tx4 transmitter can take its power directly from the PC using a simple USB power take off lead, simplifying installation and reducing system cost.
The CatX AVP Tx4 and CatX AVP Tx8 transmitters can also directly power up CatX Mini VP Receivers, when selected to VP mode.
These VGA cat5 extenders can also cascade to increase the number of outputs available, providing maximum configuration flexibility. These transmitters also provide a local VGA and audio output.
