Description

The CatX Supervisor Rx controls access to a PC or KVM switch remotely up to a distance of 150m when connected to a CatX Universal Tx or a CatX Universal Tx2 with the option of connecting a local PC. When the transmitter console is in use, the remote receiver will automatically switch to the VGA output of the local PC where it is present, preventing an operator viewing any screen activity while an administrator is accessing the system from the transmitter console.

These KVM extenders include an audio link allowing the use of speakers and a microphone from either the Tx or the Rx unit.

There is no additional software requirement but the CatX Supervisor Rx will require an external 5VDC PSU to operate when there is no local PC present.

All the CatX units in the KVM Range output SVGA up to 150 m, higher resolutions are achievable at shorter distances – see Resolution / Distance.
