Description

The CatX KVM provides full emulation of the keyboard and mouse to any computer with PS2 ports. It will function with all enhanced keyboards and wheel mice, including IntelliMouse.

The CatX KVM provides a sharp high quality video, including stereo audio, at distances up to 150 m, performing best using low cost cat5 UTP cable. Each receiver unit has a single control to ensure the best quality video output on all lengths of cat5 cable – see Resolution / Distance.

The transmitter and receiver units come as a pair and are simple to install, requiring no special set up procedures and no software to install. They are both styled with a metal casing and are compact and lightweight.

Only the receiver requires a 5VDC power supply; the transmitter takes its power from the PS2 port of the attached PC.
