As the Digital Signage space has become more diverse, digital signage networks are required to make the best use of different video formats.
The inclusion of HDMI extenders in the CatX range is part of our ongoing development program. SY is committed to developing the distribution of video, audio and control of networks for the Digital Signage market. Designed to be low powered (less than 1Watt per output) and operate in commercial environments (24/7 reliability) CatX HDMI products will deliver HD content throughout the network.
The new CatX HDMI extender range will allow distribution of a single HDMI source to multiple output devices via a single cat6 cable.
CatX HDMI extenders are HDMI and DVI compatible.
The range includes a repeater unit (CX-0HD3-RP) that can be daisy chained together for the distribution of a HDMI source over a single Cat6 cable. This can extend the HDMI source up to 300m using multiple Repeater units.
Repeaters can be up to 90m apart, depending on the display resolution. Typically, 1080i can be transmitted up to 65m from the transmitter to a single repeater and the same distance between each repeater in a daisy chain with multiple displays.
The range also includes a cost effective point to point solution.
All CatX HDMI extenders are compatible and can be integrated to create a flexible and scalable solution.
The compact CatX HDMI Tx transmitter sends HDMI signals over a single cat6 cable up to 90m, depending on the display resolution. Including a Local HDMI output, this product is designed for ease of installation. Designed for commercial environments (24/7 reliability), CatX HDMI Tx will broadcast HD digital video and audio over cat6 UTP cable at 720p/1080i up to 65m or at 1080p up to 50m.
