SY is pleased to announce the inclusion of DVI extenders in the CatX range as part of its ongoing development program. SY is committed to the distribution of video, audio and control over networks for the Digital Signage market.
The new CatX DVI extender range will allow distribution of a single DVI source to a single output device via a single cat5/6 cable or over a single fibre optic cable.
CatX DVI extenders provide USB KVM support, analogue audio, RS232, IR control and include EDID and HDCP facilities.
The CatX DVI 180 transmitter and receiver pair sends DVI video over a single cat5 or cat6 cable up to 180m, depending on the display resolution. Designed for ease of installation, this unit will broadcast HD digital video and audio over cat6 UTP cable at 1080p up to 180m.
This product connects direct to the DVI source and there is no local DVI output on this device.
These units use a state of the art chip set thus ensuring compatibility and reliability.
