Description

CatX Video Tx units are ideal for SVGA transmission over cat5 cable up to 300m when connected to either a CatXQ Video Rx or a CatXQ Video Rx2. The CatX Video Tx provides a sharp high quality video and performs best using low cost cat5 cabling. Higher resolutions are achievable at shorter distances – see Resolution / Distance.

Installation of all CatX units is quick and easy, requiring only a single 12VDC PSU adapter in order to operate. The PSU can attach to either the transmitter unit or the receiver unit, providing flexibility in the installation.

A single distance compensation control on the CatX Video receiver unit makes adjustments for different cable lengths simple whilst viewing the remote display. No switch settings or complicated set up procedure is required.

CatX Video Tx is compact and lightweight, saving both space and money whilst raising system security to a much higher level, since the video source is no longer in the same location as the display. This small size also allows for easy installation in environments with limited space.
