CatX Data Tx
Description
The CatX Data receiver receives video and serial data signals from the CatX Data Tx via UTP cable. CatX Data Rx can attach to a touch screen or control display devices via the serial interface. CatX Data Rx will receive VGA video, and handle full duplex serial data up to a distance of 150 m.
The CatX Data Rx provides a sharp high quality video at up to 150 m. The unit performs best using low cost cat5 cabling. Resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 are achievable depending on the length of UTP cable – see Resolution / Distance
Full duplex serial data from a touch screen is possible. The transmission of serial data can also be used to output commands to the attached VGA display device via a serial interface.
The controls are all on the receiver, making adjustments simple to do whilst viewing the remote display, and making installation of the CatX Data Rx is quick and easy.
All CatX units have been styled with metal casing, yet designed to be compact and lightweight. As such, they can easily fit in environments with limited space.
CatX Data Rx units are cost effective for SVGA and serial data transmission up to 150 m of cat5 cable.

The maximum resolution possible is dependent on the length of cat5 UTP cable:
