When this is the case, our CatX Cat5 extenders provide the most cost optimal solution by distributing a single video and audio source to multiple display devices, even when they are in different locations.

SY Electronics design and manufacture the CatX extenders to output the highest quality image over any distance of UTP/STP cable up to a maximum distance of 300m between devices. For longer distances, we have CatX extenders with both a Cat5 input and output port that can connect multiple cable segments together to distribute a high quality image over a total span of 2000m.
Reduced Installation Costs
Cat5 cable be as much as eight times cheaper to install than SVGA cable
Standard SVGA cable is bulky, inflexible and difficult to install, as well as representing an increased capital cost as it generally costs more than Cat5 cable. SVGA cable is also easily damaged during an installation and has a very limited range.
CatX receivers can be powered over Cat5 cable
For an easier, and hence lower cost installation, CatX Mini VP receivers get their power via the Cat5 cable from any CatX AVP transmitter. This reduces the need for additional power points at each display device location.
Reduced Maintenance Costs A CatX extender based digital signage installation permits the placement of video sources in easily accessible locations.
