You can eliminate the need to be physically present in a Data Centre. With the CatX Universal Tx2 and two remote recievers it is possible to have up to three consoles attached to a single PC, Server or KVM switch, up to 300m away.

150m and 300m receiver options

The CatX KVM extender range includes both 150m and 300m receivers. 300m receivers include Skew correction, ensuring perfect picture regardless of distance or UTP cable type.  In many environments a 150m receiver is adequate, which can be a more cost effective option.
CatX KVM extenders output the highest quality images SY Electronics designed and manufactured the CatX Cat5 extenders to output the highest quality image over any distance of UTP cable, up to the maximum distance of 300m.  This is comparable with many more expensive brands of KVM extender.
CatX KVM extenders are low powered CatX KVM transmitters can be powered directly from the attached PC or KVM switch, reducing the  need for additional mains power sockets in a server room environment. Our low powered CatX KVM extenders will have negligible impact on the overall energy consumption.
Reduced Installation costs UTP cable cost can be as much as eight times less than SVGA cable and SVGA cable is bulky, difficult to install and can be easily damaged.  Image quality is also a problem over longer lengths of SVGA cable.
Reduced maintenance costs CatX extender solutions mean that the the Console can be placed in convenient locations. This means that access to the data center is not neccesary in order to administer your network servers or PCs.
Energy Savings Since CatX extenders reduce the number of PCs used in an installation, there is also a reduction the amount of energy generated by the system, which further reduces the load on air conditioning systems creating further energy savings.
